My Pel medallion is cast silver.  It's lineage is that it is the daughter
of my bronze medallion, the one Joseph and Carolyne hung on my neck at my
elevation.  This bronze medallion was in term cast from Doria Tekla's
medallion, one of those two-sided Pel's that used to be available from the
SCA Stock Clerk, IIRC.  It was cast at at Baldwins Keep at the same time my
bronze one was (by Peter of Dun Calma and Tuvor Sabledrake), then
skeletonized by an SCA jeweler down in Dun Or.  The silver "grand-daughter"
of Doria's was also cast at Baldwins Keep, one of two, by Leximus Taurus,
his brother Celan, and Ishmael of the Wells.  I think I might have cut off
the sprues or something.  I know Celan did an outstanding job making the
sand mold; even the skeletonizing came through.
